We are exploring content licenses that allow journalists, editors, and producers to use SoundOff answers as sources for their own work.
We are inspired by the Creative Commons Zero license that allows SoundOff to waive our exclusive rights to the answers and place them in the public domain. But, we are still researching whether the intricacies of this license are the right option for our users, or if something else might be better.
Our goal with the SoundOff archive is to provide the entire media ecosystem with so many authentic stories about the world events we experience together that they can't be ignored. We want your voices to become frequent sources for every media outlet, big and small to recalibrate our public conversations from a focus on "expert" and "pundit" opinions or analysis to true "human experience."
